Les Monts Valin, composed of a dozen summits overlooking the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean on an area of 6,900 km2, is a mountain range in the chain of Laurentines. Perched 984 meters high, the peak Dubuc is the highest point of Monts Valin. In winter the mountains are covered with snow, enjoying a favorable climate, it snows on the mountains nearly twice as much as in the rest of the Saguenay.
