A roaring good time for the whole family !
- Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien
This year, the Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien welcomes new residents and treats itself to great new additions. Meet the gelada, a primate from the highlands of Ethiopia and Eritrea, famous for its inimitable facial expressions. A Canadian exclusive! Among the other newcomers, we can’t get enough of the furry Arctic foxes who never get cold. A few encounters are bound to impress many visitors: in a new 6,000-square-metre habitat, 10 times bigger than the old one, polar bears explore every nook and cranny of their new surroundings. Between the pond, amphitheatre, and huge windows, you’ll feel closer to them than ever before. Little ones and grownups will both love the Nature Trail Park and the North American animals you can watch from the train. And this year, the caribou return to the park. Don’t forget to check out the nursery and its baby orphans!

- Atelier Pierre Thibault
Also new this year, architects from Atelier Pierre Thibault have designed a new food court near Rivière-aux-Saumons, the perfect place to take a break, whether inside or out. Look for healthy menu options, fast food, and “grab ’n’ go” style self-service.
