A photographer of an extraordinary humanity, Marcel Morin asks us the question "Are we so different?", different from the people living on the street, at home and on the other side of the world. The exhibition brings together large-format photographs taken at random from the artist's wanderings in Sherbrooke, Montreal or in one of the many places he has visited elsewhere in Canada, Europe and Asia.
Advocating a sensitive approach to his subjects, he never allows himself to "steal" their image. His works bear witness to the human relationship he takes the time to establish with each of his encounters and to the common points that link him to these men and women. He takes a tender and non-judgmental look at people who stand out for their dignity and resilience. Marcel Morin hopes that the observer will stop, allow himself to be touched and consent to an awakening of conscience in front of these proud faces.
